I do realize it's a bit late but 'ey, I am not forgetful :D let's recap some important stuff happening in this chapter, shall we?
Yes, as you have just read, the blog celebrates 1 year anniversary today!! ^^ it is also no coincidence that it fell on Christmas, so Merry Christmas everyone!!
I didn't really know what I could present to you as Christmas gift but recently, I came upon this AMAZING webpage with many interesting and plausible One Piece theories! One of the most interesting ones is "Raftel's Location Theory" and also THE INHERITED WILL, "ONE PIECE" theory! (though this one came from another page but whatever)
I won't let myself talk any longer so here are the links to those said theories + the web page with a ton more of them. Please enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: I am not the author of the theories and I take no credit. The credit goes to the creators.
Another great news! It has been confirmed by Oda that Sanji WILL return in 2016 and the mystery about his birth is going to be revealed!! A new arc or even Saga is about to begin.
Oda made a comment on the manga’s future in Jump Festa 2016 which was held on 19/20 December: “My readers ask me “When will Sanji appear?” again and again these days. Hirata-san (Sanji’s voice actor) also asks me “When the heck will Sanji appear?” Next year is Sanji’s year! Finally it’s time to reveal the mystery about Sanji’s birth! The Straw Hats who didn’t made much appearances in Dressrosa Arc will have many highlights next year.” Are you guys pumped up?? Sanji, Nami, Brook and Chopper will finally be back on the spotlight!

Welcome tooo... another chapter overview! This time, we have chapter 809. Let's see what we have here!
Title: Ten Days Ago
Release date: app. November 20, 2015
After two weeks of no One Piece, the chapter 807 doesn't bring many answers but at least, we could see most crewmembers together again ^^
As for why I suddenly decided to make this chapter's overview.. I don't know it myself. Maybe because I am just too bored. Not sure whether I will do this every week, but I will try.
So. This is the promised theory, as you could say it. Why am I bringing it in here now? There are many reasons but I think the main one is - because NOW, Nami will HAVE TO have some important role in the upcoming arc. I stumbled upon this while browsing narutoforums and I tell you it's quite worth thinking about it. Well, at least for some shipping trash like me, I was in fact quite happy.
missdoublefinger (narutoforums.com): ..."As you know Oda completly erased nami , brook and chopper ( my favourite characters :'( ) from the major dressrosa arc , which implies that they HAVE to have a major role in the next major arc : the Wano cuni arc. In fact I noticed that in the colorspread of the chapter 771 , you can see Nami touching zoro's face , she's actually covering his scared eye , I actually think that she will be implected in that eye's secret which will be probably revealed during the samourai's arc plus do you remember that poster oda made ? The one where we can see nami touching the wada ichomoji sword. I've come to think these two coincidences may linked. Also in several colorspreads I've seen Nami with dragons behind her. Maybe its the reason why oda didn't make these two characters interact lately , he's waiting for that (...) I don't know I just wanted to share my thoughts about this. What do you think about it ? I'll be glad to discuss it with you guys." So, what do I think about this? First of all, I wholeheartedly agree Nami has to have an important role in upcoming arcs! As it turns out, the next arc is Zou arc though, not Wano. We shall watch and see. To be honest, I think this was one careful observation, especially that one about covering Zoro's left eye. Not sure about the dragons behind Nami, because I didn't seem to notice that much. Zoro's left eye has been a mystery since the time he appeared with it. And it doesn't seem like to be just a small thing. The concept of Zoro's New World appearance seems to always contain something that would do with his eye - or, there is a scar on his face. It's like there is something behind it. It just...smells fishy. And damn does he look good with that scar.
What else? I feel like, even if Nami doesn't have any major roles in the Zou arc, or even Wano, I think it can be possible she would be involved with the mystery of Zoro's scarred eye. I mean c'mon, why did she have to 1) move her hand and touch his face to begin with and 2) again, why did she have to move her hand up to his face when she could have just leaned on his shoulder (which would be more stable) and her hand coincidentally covers his eye?
Yes yes, we are probably looking into it too much and hoping too much but well... life goes on, fellas. Working your hope up and seeing it fall down with the speed of light is also...part of life. So, why not? At least we can have something to look up to. And if not, we can at least enjoy the arcs and the serie as Oda gives us ^^ well then, if you found this theory interesting and have something to say, let me know ^^
Oh my gawd... *INTERNAL SCREAMING INTENSIFIES*
After suuuuch a long time, we finally seeee? Zoro and Nami together in one chapter, and more importantly at ONE place again! Honestly, it was just.. too long already. Well then. I wouldn't be so exactic, IF... something didn't happen this chapter, right? First of all, we see a scene of Nami hugging Luffy and the crew looking so happy to finally be together. The hug in itself was cute but... the truth is, Nami was also probably seeking comfort in the captain. The reason why is soon explained: something happened to Sanji and it was serious enough she even started crying. However, it is not Robin but it's Zoro who first sees there is something wrong from Nami's expression.
You could argue it's nothing really special because he was just coincidentally the first one to see her tears, but I would like to concur. Oda draws one whole panel of Zoro as the FIRST one noticing the change of Nami's expression - he did NOT see her tears at first nor did he even KNEW the reason behind it (like the doggy-girl clearly knew something was wrong).
You that thing like when you quiver before you start crying? I think that's what Zoro saw and that alone was enough to wipe the smile from his face and his expression turned serious immediatelly. Just from the change of her expression alone.
I think Nami feels (at least partly) responsible for what happened to Sanji and since Luffy is the captain of the crew... yeah. In this situation, it would be kinda weird if she went to Zoro, right?
Either way, I am surprised Oda made one whole panel just showing Zoro's reaction, which leads me to think Oda will always view Zoro as someone who pays attention and cares for Nami very deeply - otherwise he wouldn't take a note of such things and his face wouldn't change this fast. You could even say Nami's change of expression has so much impact on him. They might not have had many moments as of lately but this alone is enough to show us how much they can read the other (or in other words, understand each other). Ah...even though it was long, this is enough to satisfy me for the time being. I don't also feel disturbed about the fact Nami hugged Luffy, because like I said up there, she was probably seeking comfort. And if not, seeing your friends again and hugging them is nothing wrong (she did hug Usopp when they met after 2 years, didn't she?). There was someone commenting that Nami was so emotional about Sanji to even show tears...and that she probably wouldn't show this same attention if something happened to Zoro. Well, first of all, I think it is safe to tell that she would cry even over Brook if something happened to him .... like if he died... (Skull joke in coming but let's ignore it for now). Anyway. I don't think it's so strange because...you know, Nami also cried when Luffy's bro Ace died - and him, she didn't know so well like she knows Sanji (I refuse to think Sanji is dead or anything). She is pretty emotional but by no means is that a bad thing or anything. Besides... if something happened to Zoro, I think she would also cry. I mean, if I take into account how many times she called out his name whenever he was in danger.. or how her expression changes when something happens to him, it's safe to say she would also cry. On the side note, I am quite worried about Sanji. You know, about Jack, then Sanji's wanted poster (wanted: only alive) and many more... some people theorize Sanji was captured by Jack or something but we shall see. What kind of disturbed me in this chapter was the fact minks were chewing on Luffy. To be exact, that rabbit girl and doggy-Nami alike. Especially the doggy-girl, because she wore Nami's bikini, so it felt reallyyyy....weird to me. Well that's all pals! Wait for more and tell me what you think about the last chapter! Ja ne! EDIT: DANG IT THERE IS NO CHAPTER NEXT WEEK??? WHYYY
Anyone else who was overjoyed by just this small thingy of someone in Nami's bikini helping Zoro out there? xD Yes, I am a shipping trash, thank you very much.
Zoro being attacked:
And then someone in Nami's bikini telling the attacker to stop:
But it turns out to be someone else tho T.T

What can you findMostly things that are about ZoNa, Zoro, Nami, ZoNaCho (Zoro, Nami and Chopper) or my shitty non-interesting shipping life xD
OverviewsI sometimes write overviews of chapters. Please note that they will come out depending on my free time schedule, so no rush. I might even drop it if I won't manage to do it.
Also, they are less analysing than other stuff you guys might be used to. I want to relax and enjoy those moments, so there can be times when I only include a picture and one sentence to comment it. Please remember that I will only show things that I find important. If I won't show something, I will at least talk about it. And if I won't do either of those, then it means I didn't find the moment so significant. Archives
